On this night, hundreds of prominent figures from across the ideological and cultural spectrum saluted In The Life Media’s 2012 Producing Change Award recipient Tim Gill (leading philanthropist, activist and founder of the Gill Foundation, one of the nation’s largest LGBT funders), Pioneer Award recipient Jane Velez-Mitchell (author, CNN/HLN anchor and one of only a few openly gay journalists on television), and Family Values Award recipients Paris and Christopher Barclay (two men whose courageous, outspoken, truthful representation of LGBT families is an inspiration for all Americans). In The Life Media hosted the monthly National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce New York (NGLCCNY) M3 Mixer at our 5th Floor Production Studio. The mixer allowed NGLCCNY members to network, forge connections with other NGLCCNY members, corporate partners and community leaders, and learn more about In The Life Media and NGLCCNY. This was In The Life Media's first Chamber Mixer and, as the event host, it was a great opportunity to introduce ourselves to other NGLCCNY members.

In The Life Media’s first-ever LOVE LIFE event was a huge success! A crowd filled our IN THE LIFE Production Studio overlooking Madison Square Park. Attendees included Honorary Hosts Jack Mackenroth (Project Runway), Hudson Taylor (Athlete Ally founder), Michele Balan (Last Comic Standing) and Demarco Majors (Logo's Shirts and Skins). Also joining us were designer Joshua McKinley from Project Runway, former IN THE LIFE host Katherine Linton, In The Life Media Board members and Cristina Ojeda who, with her partner Monica, was featured in our marriage equality video and soon thereafter won a precedent-setting legal battle that led to deportation proceedings against them being closed by NY’s chief immigration counsel—a first for same-sex married couples.
